MASTERWORK GAMING · WEBSITE INFORMATION

Privacy

This page describes the current Masterwork Gaming website. Last updated October 20, 2026.

What information does this site collect?

Visitors have no login accounts, checkout, or online event registration. The optional fictional results CSV preview stays in page memory and clears when you leave or reload. Do not enter personal information into these previews. That separate preview does not upload a result file. If you call the shop, you choose what information to share.

The hosting service may process technical information, such as IP addresses and request details, to deliver and protect the site.

How do contact controls work?

The menu and footer reveal phone and email links after you select a contact control. The Visit page and its business search data also publish the shop’s contact details. The server limits repeated reveal requests using pseudonymous network keys. Contact keys use a keyed hash, group IPv6 addresses by network, and are eligible for deletion after one day through ongoing bounded cleanup. This reduces simple automated collection; it cannot prevent determined scraping or remove copies already published elsewhere.

What player information is public?

The shop supplies tournament results. Every player starts with a Private profile, which shows generated initials and only the last four Pokémon Player ID digits. Staff can choose Anonymous, which shows a unique, randomly assigned Player number with no name or Pokémon ID. A Public profile shows the approved full tournament name and can show or hide the full Pokémon Player ID. These choices stay in place after later imports.

All three modes show divisions, event attendance, pairings, match results, final places, and local season points. Birth dates, organizer details, and raw tournament files are not published. Results history can still make a player recognizable to people who attended an event. Results profiles are not login accounts.

Photos, favorite decks, favorite Pokémon, and biographies are optional. Only Public profiles can show these details, after staff confirm permission. Private and Anonymous profiles hide all optional details and block their public photo links. Empty fields do not appear. Contact the shop to request a correction or discuss visibility and removal. The shop must confirm its publication notice and permission process, including for younger players. There is no player login or self-service profile editor. Participation is not treated by this website as proof of permission to publish personal details or photos.

How are staff uploads and privacy choices stored?

The Google-protected staff tool stores reviewed tournament results, profile visibility choices, optional profile details, processed profile photos, and a record of staff changes in a private database. Uploaded photos are resized and stripped of location and other embedded metadata. Original photo files are not retained. Hidden details stay private; removing a photo removes the current copy. Encrypted backups made before a change can still contain the prior details or photo. Original TOM files can contain birth dates and other private details. They are encrypted before storage and are not served as public downloads. Authorized staff can download an encrypted backup for recovery. A results profile does not create a player login.

Staff sign-in uses a secure session cookie that expires after eight hours. Security controls store pseudonymous network identifiers for rate limits; these are not anonymous usage data. Profile privacy choices change the current website; they cannot remove old screenshots or copies held by other services. The shop still needs to approve its retention and publication procedures.

Authorized staff can sign in with Google when that connection is configured. The site checks the verified email against its approved staff list and stores the email and Google account identifier in the private staff session. A temporary secure cookie protects the sign-in attempt and expires after ten minutes. The site does not request access to Gmail messages, Drive files, or Calendar. Google access tokens are not retained after sign-in.

Does this site use analytics or cookies?

Optional Google Analytics is loaded only when it has been configured and you accept analytics. Declining keeps the tracker off. Your cookie choice is stored in this browser. When analytics is available, use Cookie settings to change your choice.

What happens when I follow an outside link?

Links to Facebook, Instagram, Discord, Google Maps, and publisher sites open services with their own privacy policies.

Facebook posts load here only when you choose “Load Facebook posts.” Loading the panel connects your browser to Meta and may allow Meta to use cookies or other storage. “Hide posts” removes the panel; it does not undo data already sent. Your choice is not saved across visits.

How can I ask a privacy question?
